Dr. Abhishek’s medical journey began with his MBBS, where he developed a keen interest in internal medicine and the complex interplay of systemic diseases. He went on to pursue his MD in General Medicine at KIMS Hubli, excelling academically and earning the prestigious Gold Medal for his outstanding performance. Determined to deepen his expertise, he undertook superspecialty training in Nephrology, achieving the DrNB degree and gaining hands-on experience in managing a broad spectrum of renal conditions — from early-stage chronic kidney disease to end-stage renal disease requiring dialysis or transplantation.
 

During his training, Dr. Abhishek became proficient in advanced dialysis techniques, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of glomerulonephritis, tubulointerstitial diseases, resistant hypertension, and complex electrolyte and acid-base disorders. His work in kidney transplantation encompasses both pre- and post-transplant care, ensuring patients receive optimal outcomes and long-term graft survival.
 

To further expand his global clinical perspective, Dr. Abhishek achieved the MRCP (UK) qualification in Nephrology and became a proud Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), Delhi. His dedication and skill were recognized with the Best Outgoing Student award in Nephrology from Manipal Hospital in 2024.
 

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Abhishek is an active member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN), Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT), and Indian Medical Association (IMA). These affiliations keep him at the forefront of the latest advancements in nephrology and allow him to contribute to the broader medical community.
